Yes, assuming your truck has the correct HU. I actually do this in my wifes SUV all the time and it's awesome!!!

I bought a Clarion CZ 509 HU for this car. I wanted 2 things: BT capability and USB input. This thing cost me under $200 from crutchfield and came with EVERYTHING needed to do the install (except butt-connectors). I'm telling you all of this b/c if you find that your truck doesn't support streaming BT audio, you can pick up an aftermarket solution CHEAP. I've been cruising down the road in my wifes car, streaming pandora, talking on the phone (via BT), and have all navi audio also coming thru the speakers via BT all at the same time. It's great!

Anyway, on my HU, I can pair my phone with the HU under "bluetooth telephone" or "bluetooth audio". I'm actually not very sure what the difference is. I do know that when I formatted my phone, I had to re-pair and I did "bluetooth telephone" in order to stream pandora. It seemed to not like this (although it was paired). So I re-configured it -- pairing it as "Bluetooth Audio" and it worked.

I also found with this HU that in order for the "auto pair" to work, I had to pair it, then LEAVE IT PAIRED for 20 mins or so. If I disconnected it before then, the next time I got into the car and started it up, it wouldn't auto pair. It wasn't until I left it paired for 20 or so minutes that the auto pair started working again. I'm thinking this is specific to my HU though, but figured I'd mention it anyway.

So to set it up, you'll need to turn on BT on your phone. Then, you need to determine which device is going to send the signal to pair and which is going to receive. For me, I set my phone to "visible" (receive) and let my HU do the searching. How you do this is up to you. Going with my method, you can check the box next to "visible" on your phone. Then, you'll need to figure out how to tell your HU to "scan" or "search" for devices to pair with. Once it finds your phone, you may be prompted on your phone to enter a code. Typically this is 1234 but could be 0000.

Do you have a stock HU in your truck or do you have an aftermarket? If it's stock, what kind of truck do you have (make/model/year) and if it's aftermarket, what brand and model number?

It's probably best to consult your owners manual to figure out how to set up bluetooth from the perspective of your headunit. But, if you tell us your make/model/year or just manufacturer/model of HU, we may be able to help out.

Your truck has to be able the stream bluetooth music, not just phone calls.

It's a 2011 GMC Sierra, It does have bluetooth because i already do that with my phone. Just wondering if there is a setting in the phone that you have to enable to send pandora over bluetooth.

Just enable bluetooth audio on your truck's system. If your phone is already paired it will play through the truck's system.

Again, just because your truck has bluetooth phone call capabilities, doesn't automatically mean that it is bluetooth audio capable.

The options on your system should say something like "bluetooth audio" or "bluetooth streaming".

I did some google searching of "2011 GMC sierra" and "streaming audio" and nuttin promising came back. On the official web site it says something like "bluetooth for phone" or something dumb. When you click on the #5 footnote, you get a 404 "Obama didn't give us enough money to support this page" message.
