Creating A Folder

I've created some ring tones and want to transfer them to my phone. I see that I need to create a folder...and I don't know how to that.

I'll assign them to people in my contacts from there.

create the following folders in the root directory of your SD Card

ringtones
alarms
notifications


anything you drop into those folders will show up in the appropriate list as long as your phone is NOT connected to your computer.

you may have to format your card prior to creating those folders, some users have to do this, others don't.

How do you move m3's to the phone. I didn't see how to copy from the computer to the music folder. I'm totally lost.

Download the app called Astro. Its a file manager app and lets you create folders on your sd card.


To move music/files from PC to phone, connect the phone to your PC with the supplied cable, when connected on the phone drag down the notification bar and select mount.

Now the phone should appear in your 'My Computer' on your PC, just drag and drop music

Alternatively, just mount the sdcard and use Windows Explorer to create the folders. No third-party app required.
