Help ADB Drivers for Galaxy Spica?

I managed to install the drivers. Here's how it worked out.

-Install New PC Studio from Samsung CD (USB Driver installer did not run without this)
-Remove the just installed New PC Studio from Windows Control Panel, it for whatever reason messes up the connections at least on my computer
-Drivers should still appear in installed applications list
-Change phone to USB Debugging state and connect the phone
-Phone drivers are installed and ADB now see the device

Ty proteus, the drivers from CD were the corrects ones after all :)

thank you anttikarhu. no body needs to spend so much time looking for a solution over a piece of less-than-stellar software.

please note. after you have done his steps, do restart your phone (with the cord connected) to see the effect. =) i created this account to help those who are like me.

i hope i helped!

Hi All,
I am trying to install apk on spica ( android os 2.1 ) using "Ubuntu 8.10- Intrepid ". but my mobile phone is not getting detected when i am connecting via USB. I've enabled settings->applications settings -> Unknown sources and USB debugging options. but still when i run "./adb devices" command on terminal i dont see my samsung device name in the output list.

I suspect that Samsung galaxy spica mobile USB drivers are missing for Ubuntu.

Samsung CD supports only Windows XP or VIsta but not ubuntu .

Can anyone please tell where spica USB drivers are available for Ubuntu ?

Thanks in advance
Ravi
