Running Services ??

Just curious if the " running services " run down your battery just like " running applications" do? Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I'm new to this whole market. Just updated to the Charge from a Samsung Rogue so this is a whole new world for me.

If your asking that if your running services in the background if it will eat up battery then yes thats correct but theres ways to prevent it. One way is if you dont want to root you can download a task killer like ADVANCED TASK KILLER a lot of people will say dont do it and imma have haters saying that im dumb for telling you to us it but it has worked for me since owning the OG Droid..basically the task killer kills apps that you dont want running in your background for instance: if you open the browser and then exit the browser is still running eating your battery..so then you tell the task killer to kill the browser and boom the browser is no longer running in the background. Second option is to root and download a app called Antek app manager root and you can freeze system apps that will free up a lot of ram and help you with your battery life..hope this helps
