Root [ROM][WIP] CyanogenMod 7 | Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread) | Current Version: 09122011

I have a testing channel open now in IRC.

If there are any users looking to test the new build with the reworked kernel, join me @:

Network:
Code:
irc.freenode.net

Channel:
Code:
#ascend-testing

This is not a place to come and request or complain. This is purely what you see is what you get. I will kick/ban you if you don't respect the simple rules. If you want to just hang out, I've registered the channel so it'll stay open even when I'm gone.

I'm looking for:

- People willing to do a complete wipe.
- At least 1 user who owns a Mac.
- Users who have been running CM7-Ascend builds previously.

Like I said I've registered the channel. I plan on holding other testing days too. This is good because I don't want to deploy new builds on ROM Manager that don't work. That would be bad...

Anywho, see you in the channel.

On stock and Icarus the autorun.iso has the usb n various other drivers needed. On CM6/7 the iso image has nothing but a dummy image and neither is setup to run the iso as a cd like stock/icarus is. I messed around with this last week to try and get it to work with no luck, something isnt coded for it to work. Also the original iso is over 11MB which is a big hit to internal RAM/storage.

You also have to keep in mind CM isnt developed for the Ascend but higher end phones. We are just fortunate enough isaac ported CM6/7 over for us to use. SO we all need to keep that in mind when complaining about stuff that doesnt work and show some appreciation for all that does work on both. Same goes for pip for maintaining CM6 and continue improving it as isaac works on CM7 now.

Then tell me why it worked on CM6.

Have tried flashing MetroFF 1.3 3 times now on it and still no go.. Did a complete wipe of everything before upgrading.. Its not even showing Cricket before flashing MetroFF btw.. Guess while Im waiting on a respone Ill redownload 0521 and see if that fixes it.. Will keep ya posted..
