My favorite/most used app is Audible but my newest obsession is Tapfish, which is just a silly aquarium game and totally addictive.
Other favorite games are Shopkick, Solitaire 250 +, and Angry Birds (of course).

TubeMate (download any youtube video or music video and convert it to mp3 straight to your, "all ready installed mp3 player" super fast and super easy!)

JUICE DEFENDER (saves battery life like you would not believe)

SOUNDHOUND (while listening in the car i hear a song i like and want to know the name and artist i click "listen and in less than 5 seconds it tells me everything about the song) very fast too!!

Thanks for this tip. Droid X doesn't permit direct dial icons on the homepage, but Any Cut fixes that. Wish it would pull FB profile pics, but it's perfectly functional.

I really liked it, but I won't play it anymore because it won't work while blocking ads. I hate ads and since they haven't released an ad free paid version yet, I won't play.

Line2 - an app I use multiple times everyday that allows me to use my work provided droid x to make personal calls and text. The personal calls and text are mostly made over wi-fi and 3G connections thus not using my work droid minutes and me not having to pay for personal use. If wi-fi and 3g are not available it will use the direct dialer on the phone.

FriendCaller for you know, being called for free, straight from my website or whoever has the link.

AntTek because it's so much better than ASTRO, can delete .APK files if you give it SU permission too.

Apps I've paid for so far:

Easy Uninstaller Pro - because we all need it, I just felt it's a really low price to pay to show my gratitude.

App 2 SD - Same thing as above.


People who mention JuiceDefender and Advanced Task Killer are morons.

First, ATK doesn't do you any good, it force-closes apps that restore themselves back on, though forcing the CPU to stay at a constant 10-15% rather than letting the apps idle at almost 0%.

Second, JuiceDefender pisses me off, it friggin turns my data connections OFF and I need my push e-mails and GTalk IM's. Maybe I'm just ******ed, but I couldn't find no damn whitelist.
