How do you remove from fav screen

I accidently opened a screen and can not get rid of it. I was looking at coorporate calendar and now I have a large white no calendar events on my favorite screen that I can not get rid of. I do not have an exchange server to sync too at work. Thanks

I'm confused. Is it a widget on one of your home screens? Can you just long press and drag it into the trash?

It is on my home screen. It is the corporate calender application that is preinstalled on the Droid. When I opened it to see what it was it placed a large white box on my home screen that says no calender invites. I can't get rid of it. I can't drag it to the trash.
