Is 2.2 OS different from 2.2.2

When i bought my streak he said it has the latest OS, but it has 2.2, do is there any difference in both OS versions?

Hi Thahim,
2.2.2 has a few slight updates, but none that affect the look and feel of the device. My husband updated to 2.2.2, but I still have 2.2 and there are no noticeable differences.

You said you bought it a few days ago? How are you liking it? Do you have any questions about it?

Its awesome, i have few stupid questions, like i don't know if there is android market too, i have market on it, and the title bar on home page is white, i have seen its black on some phones, + i want to know i have seen some phones show weather on lock screen. i have searched widget locker but can't find it on market.

That "Market" app is the official "Android Market" app - there's so much good stuff there, it can get overwhelming.

As far as the Home title - Mine is "White" and I've never tried to change it, so I can't say.

As far as adding weather to your lock screen - here's a link to an app in the Android Market that allows you to alter the look of your lock screen as well as add weather to it: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.teslacoilsw.widgetlocker

You already have it - "Market" and "Android Market" app are the same thing. Are you able to open the app? It has a light green background. You can use the search feature there to find the apps you're looking for.

Yes iam able to open it, and have installed few apps too, Hey as you have been so sweet to reply to my questions, iam just getting questions after questions for you

hope i don't bug you with this.

My streaks batter life just ends up on using wifi for 5 to 7 hours, i start getting warning to recharge it. Is there any way to increase battery life, without using extended batter. and is it normal on streak to use wifi internet for this time and the batter runs out?
