Help Help needed for three issues -please

Hello,

For some strange reason I'm unable to use the 'search this forum' button on my S2. When I press the button,my keyboard pops up for a second and then disappears. This doesnt happen when I use the general search button at the top of the page.

When I view websites there is a tiny white dot on the lower left hand side of my screen. It isn't visible when looking at the screen at other times.

Lastly, when looking at websites like youtube, I have to press a small green arrow to enable videos to play, is this normal?

I've managed to work out the youtube issue....I didnt have the 'plug in' enabled in the browser setting.....I'll blame that on my advancing age,dementia and all that.

Still need your guidance on the other two problems. Thank you

I will answer your first question.
I know what you mean in that tapping on Search then when you tap on the box that pops up it closes the search window.

What you have to do is first tap on Search then when the pop up window appears select 'Advanced'.
This will then reload the web page and display the Advanced Search page.
You can then add text etc and do your search.

There is also an app, look for phandroid in market. This may be a better option for generally browsing this site on your mobile.

Good eyes on that white pixel in the bottom left! I never noticed that before. It's there no matter which way you rotate the screen.

Was looking for this the other day, searched android forums and couldn't find it!
Also had original problem Miss Diva described, was annoying the hell out of me as I only remebered when I was on my phone, hence I couldn't search for the problem I was experiencing!!!
