I am relatively new to posting here, but have been reading the posts here for quite some time. Thanks for the great info that you all provide.

I have 2 questions about the All Programs screen ......

Is there a way to re-arrange the order of the way the apps are arranged on this page ? If so, how?

Secondly, how can I remove apps off of the All Programs screen ? I know that apps that I download from The Market will disappear once they have been 'uninstalled', but what about anything else such as "Amazon MP3", "Visual Voicemail", "Stocks", etc. ?

These are things (apps listed above ) I have NO interest in, but they crowd up my All Programs screen and force me to do a lot more scrolling (due to not being able to re-arrange my most used apps on this page, SO FAR).

Any TRUE fixes to solve these issues would be highly appreciated.

1. The all programs screen organizes alphabetically and the only option is to arrange them as a list. Click your menu button while in All programs.
2. Folders are great way to put only programs you want and place them on your desktop. It's really the only way to organize them as groups than I've found. They remove clutter and you can group and name them as you like.

As far as TRUE fixes, I can't help you, I just can't stand to see questions unanswered!

Nunley pretty much answered your questions, but I can also tell you that there is no way to remove stock apps like Amazon Mp3, Stocks, etc. Not until we have root, anyways.

The beauty of the Sense UI that we have is the 7 home screens. I have everything I ever use on those screens. I almost never go into all programs, honestly!

I know you probably don't care, but I'm bored, so I'll list what each of my home screens are for so you can get an idea of what I'm talking about.
From left to right:
1. Calander
2. Settings (Wifi, GPS, Mobile toggles, Taskpanel, Locale, battery widget, etc)
3. Play, Misc (games folder, flashlight, email, Backgrounds)
4. Home (Time/weather, Handcent, Dolphin, Facebook, Camera)
5. People widget
6. Favorites widget
7. Music

On a related note, when I look at the list of programs in "Manage Applications", I see quite a few that I don't know how to normally open/run. Things like IM, HTC FTP Test, Google Apps, GMail Storage, HTC Flash Player, and so on.

I think most of those are basically parts for other apps. For example the HTC flash player works to play the add banners you see on this site and others in the browser (I know, great use of resources right?). It will also help with playing videos on websites, but it doesn't really run on its own. You have to use it in conjunction with the browser.
