Google Voice Waiting List

Hello Everyone,

I just ordered a couple of N1 phones for my wife and I. I should get them Monday or Tuesday, but I don't have any GV invites. After I heard about GV (about a week ago) I requested 2 invites, but it doesn't look like I'll get them in the next few days if I wait on Google.

Could anyone possibly part with 2 GV invites? As soon as my requests get approved by Google, I'll come back on here and pay it forward. I would really appreciate it.

:)

Thanks!

That's why you gotta be "in the know" when these things first are released. Wave started May, or so, of 2009. When two people on a forum of tens of thousands of people got it and flaunted it, people were going crazy. At that time, you couldn't even request invites, Google simply chose you. A couple months later, then they made the request service available. Someone I know that had it since May or June of last year has been given over 100 invites, gradually, the past nine months or so. So it's just a matter of being in the right place at the right time, or (kn/bl)owing someone.

Hello again. If someone still has even just one invite, I would really appreciate it if you could PM me. I hate to bother, but I can't buy them on eBay right now because I have a dishonest buyer who has opened a dispute against me on PayPal :(. That's keeping me from being able to use the account to buy anything until the dispute is resolved

I'm pretty confused about the way GV works. I already have a texting limit of 500 for $10 with verizon. Can I get free texting with GV? And will verizon allow me to take texting off my plan? If so, I will buy an invite off ebay. I just need to know how this will benefit me! And hopefully I can set it all up, not feeling too confident though. Any info would be great...:p
