I'm not like marctronixx in one way I will have my xoom for awhile. Probably 3 or 4 years.

yeah if sprint does indeed bring out the xoom on their network, VZW branded xoom goes up for sale or ill trade it in at best buy. there are rumors that moto are looking at a tegra 3 quad core tablet (i believe im saying the words in the right sequence.. D) next year so of course thats may be my next gadget..

but thats a ways off...

so lets enjoy what we have now in this super hotttt case from the otter..

I don't know where I heard or read this but for some reason I got the idea that the otterbox case didn't have a screen protector built in like a zagg invisibleshield. Is this right?

I just placed an order from here. I called OtterBox and Cellular Accessory is an Authorized OtterBox Seller. I also called the WEB-Site and they are an Authorized seller. I purchased for a grand total of $72 (with $13 3 Day UPS Delivery). Great price.

I ordered off E-Bay from a supposed Authorized OtterBox Seller for $94 with Shipping (USPS). I ended up can canceling that order because the seller was shady. I opened a case with E-Bay last night and was given a full refund this morning 4-27-11. That's why I use Paypal. Cellular Accessories uses Paypal as well.

Best price I have found so far. The reason he can sell so cheap is he is down the street from OtterBox HQ (knows the Dist. Mgr.) and has a deal with them

Whats the deal with these cases? Still not out yet huh? They look pretty finished in the video. At first I was scared off by the high price tag but after burning through 2-3 shitty cases in the past 2 months, I am ready for this bad boy.

Apparently the second coming of Jesus Christ will happen before this case is released.

I have the Otterbox on pre-order from MobileCityOnline (since they ship to Canada, the other place doesn't), did it back in mid May.

Its gone from "pre order to ship 5/27" or something like that to June-10 (or 17th for the other place), so they have gotten delayed a few times already.

Im sure its simply getting the manufacturing stuff set up and injection molding tooling set up and running. The one in the video was probably a rapid prototype... A lot of the setup and manufacturing (getting a line up and running) can take a bit of time, although I'm itching to get my hands on it too

Hopefully it will be between the 10th and 17th that they ACTUALLY get shipped out, I still haven't gotten the "Available" email from Otterbox either.

Just Ordered it through Otterbox

I had a pre-order going at MobilecityOnline, but shipping was 20 bucks so it would have been 90 bucks total, and with Otterbox it will ship out (hopefully monday, not the 21st) and shipping was 12 bucks, so with the Discount, it was 92 bucks shipped and I'll get it a lot sooner hopefully!

Not free for us Canucks, was gonna be about 20 bucks for 3-6 day (international) shipping, but by the time it got in stock to them, 12 dollar Fedex shipping (probably 1-2 weeks) would still get here sooner

Been waiting for this thing for so long, even 10 bucks extra would be worth it... I work at Best buy in the warehouse, and yesterday we got in the Otterbox cases for the Blackberry playbook, and they sure look nice! The Xoom ones should be awesome!

I've been talking to some of the managers trying to get them to carry some more stuff for the Xoom, accessories for it at the big retail stores are pretty sparse right now!

Even though I was upset with otterbox for taking SOOOOO long in releasing this case, I bought one on the release day, I should be getting it in a couple of days!

I received my defender case yesterday! I have to say the innovations they have put into this case are very nice.

It is extremely easy to install the xoom in the case.
The integrated power button on the screen cover works great.
And the sound is better than I expected when the screen cover is installed on the back of the case.

All in all, I am very happy with the case.

It was worth the wait.
