Hi everyone, long time reader, first time threader. I've been reading alot about the Nexus One and without going into a shitload of detail, as you all know, the forums do attract alot of negative reviews, only because, obviously, the masses of people out there who are happy with their shiny new handset are sitting back, playing with their gadget, probably laughing at the world.

My phone arrives tomorrow, so I thought it would be interesting to start a thread that everyone can post their positive, satisfied testimonials in. If this thread fails I will take that as a fail over all.

Nothing negative here, if you're happy with your new Nexus let everyone know here. Over 9,000 pages.

First Android phone - first smart phone, in fact! Could not be happier with my purchase. Battery life is excellent for me (last the whole day with lots of wi-fi use and game playing, certainly long enough for the average consumer), speed is incredible for something that is essentially a computer in a phone's shell. I've said it before and I'll say it again: loving a gadget this much should be illegal.

Love my Nexus too! Battery life is pretty poor for me, though I can't seem to stop fingering it all the time. When the newness wears off and I quit playing with it 24/7 I'll have a better idea of true battery life.

I went from a BlackBerry Bold 9000 to the Nexus and have not regretted it for a moment. I'm sold on the Nexus and Android.

i switched to the n1 from an iphone 3g. so far so good, i love the android OS compared to the limited apple OS (i was also jailbroken). i LOVE being able to just plug the phone into the PC as an external drive and copy / paste instead of heaving everything thru itunes (imo one of the worst parts of the iphone experience)

battery life has been great, i play around on the phone all day on 3g and wifi and make several long calls and only get down to about 30% after 2 days. 3g is a little shaky in my opinion (came from att to tmobile) but i have not had a major issue with it yet and hopefully there will be a software fix for it?

all in all .. i'm super happy with my phone! :D

Exactly my thoughts on battery life. I am using it instead of my laptop (which is actually currently on my lap!) for reading/replying to emails and viewing web pages, just because it's fun doing it that way.

I very much doubt in a week or two if I'll be using it like that. And even though I am using it like that, battery isn't terrible. Not like I've ever been caught short. I've never got below 30-40% without having a chance to plug it in.

My phone is great. The screen is responsive, everything is blazing fast and while the battery is struggling, I constantly have WiFi on, the screen is on a relatively high brightness and I'm constantly taking it out of my pocket and fiddling with it, so I'm satisfied. Wish I got 3G at my house, but since I use WiFi there, and I get 3G everywhere else, it's not a problem.

Two weeks in and I tell people who ask that it's the best phone I have ever owned and easily the best piece of gadgetry I have ever owned.

I came from the G1 so I was already happy with Android, but the speed difference and visual difference alone make this phone worth it. The battery regularly lasts me at least a day (and often through the next morning if I forget to charge it at night). I don't have any of the issues noted by some of the other users.

In a nutshell, I wouldn't trade this phone for any other phone.

I don't even read the complains anymore, I am simply happy and looking forward to even more improvements such as Divx implementation, better copy and paste experience, BBM (one day?)....etc.

The only reason why I didn't write my full review on here yet is because I can't get the damn thing off of my hands. 1 week today, I still love it.
Best phone I ever had (and I had quite a few... Iphone, Nokias E series, Neonode, G1, the list goes on...) by far, it can only get better with the potential it has with Snapdragon.
I even have an obession with the n1 being inside the pouch that was in the box... I love it.
Ok, gtg play with it....

x2. Definitely the best phone like device I've ever owned, though can't say the best phone. The N1 suffers from the same problems that my G1 did as it relates to signal (at least for me in the Phoenix area). 3g speeds are rather slow (though I don't think i am experiencing the 3g problem others refer to), and often times, the signal bars will randomly fluctuate as well. Normally, I would afford this to a coverage problem with Tmobile, but my wife's phone (my old blackberry pearl) has never experienced this problem. It's upsetting when I find out that I've missed several calls, but it's definitely not a deal breaker, as it works *most* of the time just fine, and it is quite obvious that others do not experience these issues, Oh well.

Still an awesome device.

What part of nothing negative do you not understand?

Been using blackberries for the past 5 years and made the switch...other than the lack of a BLACKBERRY (emphasis on brand because they had the best keyboard imo) keyboard, I am extremely happy with my N1. And I also happen to be one of the lucky few that hasn't had ANY of the problems everyone is describing, like the inconsistent 3G/EDGE on T-Mobile, random button presses, dust under screen, etc. And with my Phantom Skin on it, it looks amazing. Oh and I've convinced 5 people so far to purchase an unlocked N1 so far.

I'm coming from my Iphone 3g which is now just a thick ipod touch; the OS and UI is (in my opinion) better than my Iphone.

For one when you navigate with your Iphone and then come back to android/N1 the Iphone feels like a fischer price UI (Not that the OS is shit or anything like that); but the robustness is lost in the iphone.

Another awesome tool im addicted to is the GPS guidance; it's simply amazing and I haven't hooked up my tomtom since ive bought my nexus; it's that good and you can find POI's to boot a lot easier in the maps app than you can on my tomtom.

Apps! While everyone is raving and comparing androids 20k apps to apples; I haven't really found an app that I needed on my iphone that isn't available on my N1. Honestly most of my apps on my iphone were cydia apps like backgrounder, Springboard themes, Video recorder..etc...which the N1 already does out of the box.

Ive already posted a few negatives in other threads, so ill stick to your request.
