I couldn't find an existing thread that dealt specifically with the documented sound problems when listening to music so I wanted to start this one to see if I could get others to list specific scenarios where they are hearing problems.
The reason I ask is that I was streaming Slacker for half an hour today to test a paired set of stereo headphones while trying to recreate a problem another forum user was having. Not only did my headphones work flawlessly (or at least as flawless as they ever have with other devices), but I heard nothing unusual during the 30 minute stream -- no hisses, no pops, and no skipped songs.
This makes me wonder if there is something unique causing the problem for others. Perhaps multitasking, Flash, MP3s vs streaming, minjack headphones? I know all these examples have been mentioned before but I don't believe a common link has been found. If we can find something, I'd like to test the specific scenario on my end keeping in mind that I am rooted with several apps frozen or uninstalled (including Flash).
Just figured we should keep a thread reserved specifically for this issue rather than mixed in with other "symptoms" of a faulty smartphone (for the record, I think the X2 is fantastic).
