Root flashed g1 to magic rom

i recently flashed my g1 to the magic rom it has a few bugs but worth it in my opinion check out xda they have it there

Does the flash have UMA support?

have not tried i have no wifi connection

It is the only thing that is holding me up from replacing my Curve with a G1.

UMA is gonna be a hardware issue. You're not gonna get UMA on the G1

I was always told that the G1 had the hardware ability but it needed an updated flashed operating system.

Well I hope they come out with a v2 of the G1.
I really prefer a real keyboard.

witch rom did you flash i did the 4.9 and i have a few bugs..
call log
inverted camara
inverted video recorder
phone process stops after every call

what build do u have and what has been your experiance?

i first used 4.9 but it had too many bugs and wasnt very stable
then i switched to 4.5 it is very stable and video + camera work perfectly but it is not as 'pretty' a 4.9.

Hi all, I installed the Magic rom on my g1 today and it is nice, but as much as I use my phone and play with it, it just lags too much. So, can anyone tell me how to go back to the original g1 rom or software? Thanks.

5.0 has been released and it is a lot faster and i havent found one bug and i have been using it for a while now, you should try it

they have just released the newset version witch is very stable and very nice i like alot better than what the phone came with... check it on xda they have the link there or here it is http://haykuro.theiphoneproject.org i dont no if thats allowed but i love the rom its the 5.0.1h its great and very stable only thing is it starts out in chinesse but the have screen shots step by step to put your phone back in english lol

i have also flased to 5.0.1 and i havent found any bugs and it is better looking.faster and a lot more customisable than the phones original rom.
