Apps, games etc in folders??

Hey all is it possible to create folders to place all my apps games etc into? I hate having everything clutted everywhere on the one screen

Yes, you can create folders. press and hold anywhere on the Home screen, tap "Shortcut", then tap "Folder". You can then drag and drop apps from the drawer to the folder.

To change the folder's name, open the folder, and then press and hold the bar where the name is (don't touch the x).

cool thanks ive done that, but is there a way of placing it under the draw out tab? i dont like having hundreds of apps games etc just sitting there

There is a way .... I use aHome as my theme and you can turn the drawer tab on or off ... and the tab in my theme "Star" is just a small magnifing glass icon above the tray...

You will still be able to get to all your apps in the systems Managing Applications ... it just isn't as easy as having a quick icon or tab to get to all your apps at once...

thanks for the help guys, done the folders thing to the left of the phone screen. Now waht about icons for the folders and is it possible to give quick launch numbers an icon on the home screen?

Custom Folders ? -- NO !!
Replace original Folder ? -- YES ... Theme creators have done it... i am sure they just replaced the original folder icon with one of their own design ...

In the Future -- Active Folder might make custom looking folders a possibility ... but that is to be seen ???

hmmm ok cool thanks for the help guys. sucks you cant add custom icons to folders and quick dial numbers though...looks very bland on a smick phone
you can do quick dial, depending on what you mean.

On my home screen I've created a folder, and in that folder are all direct links to people in my contact list. If I click their icon, it dials their number. I believe I used "Anycut" to create these direct dial links. I almost put them on the home page -- but I accidentally open apps when I'm just messing with the screen, I don't need to accidentally call anyone.
:p
