Help Can't find certain apps

I have what might be a really stupid question. I seem to be missing some standard apps from my "all applications" screen and I'm wondering if I'm just looking in the wrong place?

First, I downloaded some pics that I wanted to use as wallpapers. They aren't appearing in my "All Downloads" folder, and I have no idea where to find them. They aren't showing up in the Gallery. I went to the HTC guide app thing and it said to try the "Photos" app. But I don't have appear to have a Photos app. Sprint's help pages also say I should, but I don't. Did I accidentally hide it? Is there a way to find it? Halp.

Second, while searching Sprint's help pages, I came across mention of a Notifications app...like, it said, "press menu button, then press notifications." I also don't have a Notifications app. This same help tip claimed that I could pull down on the Notifications bar and then choose to set my phone as not USB or something like that, but that's not even an option anywhere when my Notifications bar is open.

Is there a list anywhere of the standard Evo apps, so I can see if I'm missing anything else? How do I get them back?

Edit: Restarting the phone produced my downloaded pictures in the gallery, so that's one less issue. But I still don't have these two apps that HTC and Sprint both claim I should have. So I still would like an answer. Thanks

My wife and I have had our EVO 4Gs for 2 weeks, now.
I search the Market for "antivirus" and get 266 results.
I do the same search on my wife's identical phone and get 77 results.
What gives?

I have the GasBuddy app installed on my phone.
Can't find it on hers.

Has my wife's phone been hacked?
Is it because hers is white and mine is black?

I can't figure this out.

Are you searching on the device or a computer.

Personally I find it much easier to search for apps on the computer vs. the device itself.

Why would you think you wife's device has been hacked or that color makes a difference?

Are you both running the same version of software? The only thing I could think of that would do something similar to this (although I wouldn't think it would be this extreme) is if she was running a 2.1 or 2.2 OS and you were running a 2.3 OS.
