New Member - Hello from MultiMartin

I've just joined and your banner ad made me feel slightly bad as I was just going to lurk - so I'm posting this to say 'Hi' as you suggest.

I've been using the HTC Hero handset on the Orange UK network since July and I'm unbelievably happy with it. I always wanted an iPhone but I am so glad I went for an Android phone as I can completely customise the UI. However, I am getting a little annoyed at the time it is taking for Android 2.1 to be realised - couple with the fact that I'm not entirely sure that my network will be releasing the update.

I'm also looking with envious eyes at the Motorola DROID/Milestone and sometimes wish I'd waited for that but now I'm not sure I can live without HTC Sense!

I'm hoping to learn more about customising Android here and getting the most out of my handset!
