Anyone have any suggestions for a great, fairly inexpensive, Bluetooth headset that comes with great sound quality and not much road noise? I've been looking around but want to make sure that I find a good one for my Eris. Anyone who can give me some guidance would be great!

i have tried several "in the ear" bluetooth headsets over the years...all around the $50 to $75 range. i have never found anything i could really recommend. however, i just recently purchased a bluetooth speakerphone that clips to my visor. it is the moto t215 right from the verizon wireless store. it is the best bluetooth device i have ever owned. call clarity is great and people on the other end say they can hear me just fine. it is about $59 if i recall correctly. no annoying headsets clipped to my ear anymore either!

Boleap. Just spend the money and get good quality if you can. I have had 40 different Bluetooths over the years. I have never had a good one under $70. My current one by far is the best I have ever owned (Jawbone). I know it is expensive. I guess it depends on how much you use it.

I would have to agree with the jawbone being a great Bluetooth headset. I bought a jawbone prime from the Verizon store on clearance. I also a got the verizon customer discount. I ended up paying about 60-65 dollars for it. You can find some good deals on them.

If you want quality on a budget then you will need to look at "last years" models. You can find a few out there that were top of the line 2 years ago, but are still great. I have a Samsung Wep200 which is a really nice small in the ear headset. You can get them online now for under $25 and they work great. The only bad part is that the battery life is around 3 to 4 hours of talk time. You can also look at the Jabra BT8010 which has a second piece that turns it into a stereo bluetooth headset. These can be found for under $30.

What ever you do, be careful buying on ebay. Some of the stuff for bluetooth on there is just horrible. Even the "brand name" stuff.

I also have the Samsung WEP200, but the volume level is a little low for my preference. Since there's no way to increase the volume on the WEP200, I would go with another bluetooth that has better output.

Really? I am actually pretty surprised to hear/see anyone say that. That thing almost blows my eardrums out sometimes. I usually have to turn the volume all the way down to carry on a conversation with someone. The only time I ever turn it up is when I am talking to customer service for different companies (no idea why they always hire mumblers to talk on the phone).

Aren't the Voicecall Volume and the Bluetooth Volume the same Volume Control? If you set the Voicecall Volume to Max, then connect to the Bluetooth Headset, won't the Bluetooth Volume automatically be set to Max?

Not actually sure. I have just noticed that there are two different volumes involved. I usually keep the Voice Call volume at the middle and without fail I have to turn the volume down when I connect to the Samsung. When I connect to the Jabra, I usually have to turn it up.
