backup & edit contacts on motorola droid

I want to back up my contacts on my droid on my PC. I also want to be able to edit my contacts on my PC and copy to my droid.

Any suggestion?

All of your contacts are synced with your gmail account. Just log in and u can edit them from there. That's what I did when I got the phone, works great

You can open Gmail on your PC and export a CSV file of your contacts to your desktop. You can edit the CSV file and use it as a backup. After you edit, you can just import it back into Gmail.

Also, if you have your Gmail contacts organized in groups, you can export a CSV file for specific groups instead of the whole thing. Just select a group and click "All", then do your export. It will export that group only. This way, when you import the CSV file back into Gmail , you can select it to import back into that group.

You can use Google Voice to edit the contacts as well, and I believe that the contacts editor there is more robust than the one in Gmail.
