Hey all, So i have been having issues with the earpiece on my phone. Tmobile is sending me a new one but I need to know if I reset the phone...or how do i reset the phone to original OS and settings?

I don't want to send them my rooted phone. Also, I can backup all my stuff onto my SD card, when I root my new one can I load that backup onto it? Thanks guys.

I think you just need to flash the rooted phone back to RC29 ... (prior to root blocking)
then you Can go into settings .. And check for updates ... the OTA should install the latest legit version ....

I have not done this .. but have followed the discussions and threads ...

Give it a try ... can't hurt ... if it does not work I am sure if you repost here with results ... other Rooter's will give you their expertise.

Let us All know if this works ...

SOOOOOO this is not working for me and I am freaking frustrated right now lol. I did alt w from the menu when you press home+power and it wiped my phone. I had hoped it would completely reset it back to normal...but i guess that doesn't even make sence. I downloaded the update file from the website that was suggested but that the download failed...now i have a wiped phone that has none of my apps on it and I don't even know how to restore it using with the backup file I made. this is insane and super frustrating.

Can one of you awesome developers, contributors or someone help me out here, if I can even just reset it back to normal without JF then I would be happy. Then Ill just see if I can at least get my apps off the backup file...SIGH ok.

Thanks guys.:D
