Headphones not working? no sound

Hey all I just recently got a bell samsung galaxy s2. Anytime I plug in the headphones the sound still goes through the speakers. Any suggestions?

Push the earphone jack firmly into the socket till you hear a nice click. Even if a millimeter remains out, it doesnt work.

Not sure about this shield I watched the video and it seems the solution they spray on it is water...

No problem mate. It happened to me too. I was complaining to my friend that my old earphones arent working with my SGS2. He just pushed the plug deeper, which I too was scared to do, thought would damage my new phone...

I use the wallet type cover that came along with the phone. Its good. But I have ordered this one Genuine Samsung i9100 Galaxy S 2 II Black Cool Vent: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics
