My droid records REALLY bad video

Hey guys, my droids video recording quality is very low. The video always has this fuzziness about it, and my pictures (while taking them and looking at screen) also look like this, but when i take the pic and go to view it, it looks fine. It seems that it only looks like crap in the viewer as far as pictures go, but with recording video it stays at the viewer quality. anyone have a similar problem or know how to fix it? I set the quality to high in the settings.

The best way I can describe the fuzzyness is like a bad tv set, with little flickering lines going across it that make the image appear to have "noise"

Are the lines in the video itself when you watch it on the computer or the phone, or do you only see the lines on the display when taking the video?

I noticed multicolored lines going across the display when you're pointing the camera at something dark and are close up to it, or when there is very dim lighting. I have a thread about this somewhere.

I took it back to the verizon store and asked them about it. We compared what the display looked like in video mode on my droid, the doid eris, and the lg env touch. All 3 phones showed the faint colored lines in these situations. So, it's either a common issue with the camera chips or expected behavior.

Also, from a video quality perspective, you do have the high quality setting turned on in the settings in video mode right? It says High Quality (for SD Card)

My picture quality is still not that great, with 2.0.1.

I made this vid with my Droid a few weeks ago. I thought it was pretty good video until I hit a few hard bumps and caused the vid to skip and the audio to go out of sync, heh. I just have a prob with taking pics indoors. Even in moderately lit areas, the pics come out completely dark like all the lights were off.
