How do I archive google mail to certain mail box folders. When I get a new mail and I get the option to archive it, I hit the archive button but I do not get the option to move it to a certain folder. How do I do that??
Select the messages to go into a 'folder' and then click 'labels' (it's next to the archive button) and select the correct one. Then archive them. Gmail folders are called labels.
You should now be able to select multiple conversation threads and a menu will pop up with Archive, Label and Delete options. Do you have any labels set up?
I don't understand how it's any different from the browser version, it's really simple. Select a load of messages from the email list, select Labels to choose thebfolder you want, and then hit Archive. Or from the message itself hit the 'Menu' softkey and select the 'Change labels'.
Sorry, haven't tried any 3rd party email apps but perhaps someone else has some ideas.
