Here is a summary of all the recent HTC fcc filings and what we think we know about them based on the discussion in this thread:

PB76100: Model: Legend Carrier: Unknown GSM+SIM carrier
PB31200: Model: Incredible Carrier: Verizon Wireless
PB99300: Model: Nexus One Carrier: Verizon Wireless
PB99200: Model: ? (probably N1) Carrier: European GSM (likely Vodafone WCDMA VIII)

The nexus one is model PB99100. I would guess the above model is based off of this. The numbers are close together. The model going to Verizon.

Good catch, but I believe this one is for AT&T!

supports: GSM850/1900 & WCDMA IV
T-mob is the only U.S. carrier that uses WCDMA IV for 3G

PB99110 (the new filling)
supports: GSM850/1900 & WCDMA II & V
AT&T is the only U.S. carrier that uses WCDMA II & V

As was reported when the N1 came out, AT&T users could use the N1 by using their sim cards but would not be able to access AT&T 3G. This phone seems to address AT&T users specifically.

I have to agree with you. Just wishful thinking for Verizon. Hopefully Bravo will coming soon now. Also, do you know what bands the worldphones run on through Verizon?

It says Cellular and Wi-Fi - I am wondering if it's the Supersonic which is due on Sprint in March? Or isn't Wi-Fi equal to Wi-Max?

Whatever phone this is, it's likely for AT&T. It clearly states the tested bands are GSM/GPRS and WCDMA (UMTS/HSPA). Won't work on Verizon or Sprint.

I beginning to think that the Eris is the way to go. Next week I can use my new every 2. I wanted to wait for something new from HTC, but without a nibble and a half dead phone, I'm not sure I can wait too much longer. I never used an HTC phone and I wanted to give the company a try. I definitely don't want to use Windows Mobile or Blackberry.

sadly, i think they have a little hard on for the droid. i'm no longer optimistic that they are quiet cause of something huge in the making. next big thing will be the nexus.

But I think the reason Verizon people are upset is because all the other carriers have (or are getting) these amazing new phones. And the Droid really doesn't compare to those. AT&T has been above the competition for years with the iPhone. T-Mobile has had the majority of the Android phones so far (and T-Mobile UK is getting the Bravo). Sprint has the Hero and Moment and is getting the Supersonic. And Verizon has...... the Droid? Eris? That is why we complain.

I really just want the following things in a phone:

1) It needs to be very capable as a phone (ie great coverage and doesn't drop calls)..for me, that means Verizon--I get coverage in surprisingly remote places.

2) A camera that doesn't have any silly limitations like no flash.

3) It needs to be durable. I am outdoors a LOT and I take my phone. My phone needs to be tough and preferably I can put it in a great case (slide out keyboards aren't great if you can't use them ensconced in a case).

4) It needs to make my life easier. I do a LOT of outside activities and most days I have with me my GPS, my phone (LG Juke--don't laugh, it's small and works well), a camera, and an ipod. I want a device to combine all of those with as few compromises as possible.

5) I want to support Android.

If it wasn't for step 5, I could already have a phone to suit my needs I'd just be using WinMo (shudder). I'd prefer HTC and Sense UI but at this point I'm getting pretty tired of waiting.

That pretty much sums up my criteria list too. It is starting to make the Motoroi look pretty attractive. And although we don't know if the 'roi is comng to VZW, at least we know it exists. Albeit w/out sense.

I dont know for sure. But I am guessing any time you change the frequencies on which the phone operates you have to refile with the FCC even if all the other hardware remains the same. Being that this new phone will now work with AT&T 3G they had to refile.

I agree with the last part. Improvements to the stock UI are closing the gap with Sense. While I'm not interested in the Droid, it does give me the option of going the "known specs" route of picking up the Nexus One if the Incredible, or whatever it will be called, falls short in some way, shape, or form. It's nice to have options, particularly on Verizon when normally you're limited to a single device and don't know what you're getting until release is imminent.
