Hi!

Tried to upgrade from Floyo-1.0 to GingerDX v009 but then got problems with USB connection and the SD card not able to mount. Had to go back to Floyo-1.0.

Did full wipe before updating the ROM twice but still the same problems (or is it bugs?)

Liked the new Market GUI version though.

Waiting for a newer version in the future.

Update: Just changed my microSDHC from a no-name (generic) one to a Transcend 8 Gb Class 10 microSDHC and it's now working fine with the custom ROM flavors (kuyaDROID and GingerDX)

Hi,

Just installed GingerDX v010 and everything works except I can't install apps from market, after downloading it says installing ... and reboots. I cleaned swap and dalvik cache but still can't install anything.

any ideas?

Anyway, many thanks for a very good work!!!

Hi,

I think you should try to do a <Privacy> factory (data) reset and start over.
I sounds like have a .android_secure folder conflict.

cheers :)

Hi,

I did a factory wipe with xrecovery and now everything is working fine. I had done a factory wipe before installing 010 but apparently that wasn't enough.

I don't know if it was an .android_secure folder conflict as you say or some old data that was left from the applications I had with 2.1 (I could see them as installed apps using 8Kb each in <settings>/<applications>)

Thanks!!

Hi Guys, DX version 11 seems to work well, however I have a couple of questions. Coming from 2.1.1 I am now a bit confused by some features that weren't there before.

(1) I had partitioned my sd card so that link2sd could work. Those apps that I linked still show on file manager, but not on GingerDX apps, how do I access them, or can't I? On from this, should I remove the partition if I am going to use Ginger DX?

(2) 2.1.1 had a built in turn off mobile data switch. In order to save battery can anyone suggest a way, or a good app, to turn off mobile data?

Many Thanks
