Root G2x ROMs and Kernels...

Well now that I've finally found the G2x dedicated forum (hiding under T-Mobile G2x instead of LG G2x ;)), I thought I'd list the ROMs and Kernels that are available to download for it so far.

ROMS

Bionix 2 - The Legacy Continues - RC2... brought to you by Krylon360 and Team Whiskey.

CyanogenMod7 - Nightlies... brought to you by Cyanogen and all the kings men.

EaglesBlood - Fast got Faster... brought to you by Team Shockwave.

AOSP Gingerbread 2.3.4... brought to you by Faux123.

Rooted and Stock NANDROID Restore Froyo 2.22 LG-P999-V10f... brought to you by TGA Gunnman.

Light and Dark Sinister 1.1... brought to you by Team Shockwave.

KERNELS

CM7 Based 1500mhz OC/UV... brought to you by Faux123.

Trinity (Versions 14 & 15) for G2x - CM7... brought to you by Morfic.

Click on the link, read EVERYTHING, flash at your own risk, and have fun. I'm not responsible for anything you do to your device, I'm just bridging the gap from here to XDA Forums, where everything is happening for the LG G2x.

Enjoy.

:D

Wow, I was hoping for a little more activity here in the root section... why is there so little activity here and so much over at XDA Forums anyhow?

Oh well, here is my LG G2x after flashing Bionix 2 + the Trinity kernel and OC'd to 1400 using 'Pimp my CPU'...

Hey! This is the cleanest list of ROMS & Kernels for the G2x I could find! I've been using your post to grab and test out multiple ROMs/Kernels on my phone and it's been very useful and informative.

I ran the CM7 ROM with a couple different kernels.. But I had been using that for a long time on my G2 and I wanted to try something new so now I'm trying out AOSP 2.3.4 and so far its great!

p.s. I don't believe bionix has released his RC2 yet.. so you might want to update your post back to RC1 until its released.

Thanks again!

edit: XDA has a HUGE community... I wasn't even registered here before your post so don't worry about the lack of attention, this is a great compilation of ROMS and likely worthy of a sticky on XDA (if there isn't already a comparable one over there).
