So I am looking around for a MicroSD card. Have to remember not to get a MicroSCHC because some say they don't work well/at all.

1. Where did you buy yours?
2. How much did it cost?
3. What size is it?
4. Any problems with it?
5. What class is it?
6. Brand?

If you find any deals, maybe we can post here as well. I was going through the sunday paper and saw this:

1. Radio Shack
2. $24.99
3. 8 gig
4. n/a
5. Do not know.
6. SanDisk.

Does this seem like an okay buy?

Mysticmead, you beat me to it. YES anything over 4gb is HC. I have been using a 16gb Sandisk for a couple of months, works great. Depends on how much you want to put on it. I have 9 full mp4 movies on mine, plus about 10 CD's of music. I think my card is class 2, not a problem. It may load a full movie (600mb) in 2 min. insted of 45 sec. but everything plays fine from there. I have over 8gb available. I'd stick with a known brand: Sandisk, Trancind, several others. I'd buy from Amazon, Newegg, buy.com, etc. This is one item I wouldn't buy from e-bay, regardless of price, too many counterfits there.

If you want very reasonable, but room for some expansion, Amazon has the Sandisk 8gb card for $13 and change, and shipping. (the 16gb sandisk is $43)

Transcend 16 GB Class 6 from Amazon... was $70 back in October when I bought it, looks like the price has gone up to $90 currently:
Amazon.com: Transcend 16 GB microSDHC Class 6 Flash Memory Card TS16GUSDHC6E [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging]: Electronics

Seems to be a good card, quick to access music etc...

Edit : A little cheaper at Newegg:

They also have cheaper one's from A-Data, RiData and OCZ, seem to get decent reviews

This is the one I picked up last week.

Newegg.com - Transcend 8GB Micro SDHC Flash Card Model TS8GUSDC6 - Flash Memory

Transcend 8GB class 6 micro SDHC

Tried it with my digital camera and it worked great, much faster than my class 2.

Unfortunately, I didn't see any improvement in speed on the HTC Hero (again, I think there has been much discussion on the max read/write speed of the Hero's memory card slot), but that was expected.
