Root [ROM][YACR] CM 7.1-Reppard

[Android?What!?]

I set it up and tried it out. It will close an app, but it doesn't take me to my home screen, if I'm on one of the other screens.

All you have to do is reflash the Rom, this happened to me but with the search button, don't clear data or cache just reflash the Rom.

Wouldn't know man I am sticking with good old trusty gnm recovery

I went ahead and re-flashed the GNM recovery. Then I booted into recovery and flashed the DT a2sd. It didn't work.

Ya, that was pretty funny. I flashed this a couple hours ago after I ran it through the kitchen and added a few tweaks and a2sd. It's been runnin' like a champ so far! This is the first GB Rom I've flashed. Will report any problems if I run into any. Thanks for all your hard work!

I went ahead and re-flashed the GNM recovery. Then I booted into recovery and flashed the DT a2sd. It didn't work.

I flashed the dta2sd with the gnm recovery and everything works perfect. Also I wanted to say thanks to tweaks revenge for the a2sd info and Reppard with this bad ass rom everything is runng great ocd at 806 and a2sd running great its a great build. I was on sense rom forever and now it's time for gb again

I'm kinda confused tho,

I read a2sd was not here, ran a2sd check, and I was about to install it... but wtf is going on here.... 2.23mb used on phone, all my apps are installed to phone, they work, and a2sd check = not found... I'm tired and now I'm confused. wtf did I miss?

Sadly I flashed my phone 3 times, it lacks a Market everytime I attempted. Other then that... the rom is flawless! Awesome work.

preliminary results for new kernel build r.O.C.K. v1

added smartassv2 governor. interface seems very smooth with this governor. might still have a little more tweaking to do with the source. quadrant score isn't drastically improved but i have noticed that i can now run 806 mhz stable now were as my old top was 787. still got some work but i think this governor can go along way in relation to performance vs power consumption. been looking at code too long, im going to bed.

This Rom is freaking sweet! I've been running this Rom as hard as I can with high clock speeds and no task killer and the battery life is very good. Thanks for yet another excellent build, Reppard. I'll definatly be using this one for a long time!

ok.. so heres the results of previous test.. like i said not sure if anyone has done this or does this.. but before flashing this rom i made a backup of my data partition and my sd-ext using the GNM recovery. after flashing this rom and DTsA2SD script and installing DTsA2sdGUI and moving the dalvik cache back to the sd-ext i restored these 2 partitions and then cleared dalvik cache as the backup i had backed up the old dalvik cache. Results are perfect.. full restore of all text messages.. call log.. etc.. homes screens are restored to their previous state.. widgets in place.. all logins restored.. ALL user data is back and ALL apps are back and functioning.. android version is still the same.. only differance i noticed from b4 and after so far is the Settings>ADW Settings menu is gone.. but android version is still 2.3.5 up from previous 2.3.3.. havent had any force closes or anything.. will let you know if anything happens. oh there is another differance.. your bootanimation will default back to the previous bootanimation not the new one.. and the first boot after restore will take quite a while.

Also.. there is ABSOLUTELY NO screen lag when unlocking phone.. press the button and its on

Market is included in this update i assure you. I have noticed some issues when switching back and forth from a2sd compatible roms to nona2sd roms before. Sometimes gapps dont show up. Be sure to wipe properly and reflash. Also with a fresh install it takes a few minutes for all the apps to show up sometimes. Other than that, I've flashed several builds as I have been working on this and Market is always there.

Ive tried reflashing/restarting acouple times im wiping from bottom up skipping the sd ext one ...then disabling sig. and flashing please tell me if im doing something wrong,,, ill try to redownload the zip.
