Help Bionic Battery Cover Removal?

How the hell do I take this thing off? Anyone?
I'm trying to put my old memory card in from my DX that has all my pics saved on it.
I feel like a noob, but I don't want to break my phone that is only 4 hours old.

There's a notch right below the power button. Use that to pull it off.

I start at the top. Its a PITA to take off. Just start peeling it off almost. Be careful! lol

Thanks, I saw that but it wasn't really coming off too easy.. so just pull it off? It doesn't slide down or anything like the DroidX ?

That's right, it is nothing like the Droid X. You really, really have to pull hard.

no slide. Just pull off. there are many places it will click into

Its definitely a strange design move from previous Moto phones. But it is nice to see that Moto is trying new things.

I have found that after pulling the corner with the notch of it's easiest to work your way down the same side of the phone as the notch. Once that side is off it just comes right off.

If you try pulling that corner and then moving across the top and then down the opposite side it is much harder and feels like it could break.

I put one of those silicone cases on mine and when I went to take it off it pulled the battery cover off quite easily... hope it isn't that easy all the time on mine!

boy this makes that "extra battery" from Costco sound like major PITA to use on a regular basis!

Reminiscent of the Thunderbolt (returned after 10 days)! I had to take a knife to it to separate it from the back every time. Needless to say it scratched up the nice housing.

I love the Droid X slide back. Why don't they stick with that???

I've taken the battery cover off 3 or 4 times now. It has gotten fairly easy now that I know what I'm doing. I just didn't want to break it the first time around.

Taking off the back cover is quite easy for me. Just make sure that you take off the the right side dirt because it'll make it a lot easier. Just make sure that you have everything snapped back together because the Verizon rep accidentally left a tiny opening at the very top.

The Battery cover is easy compared to the actual battery. They have it wedged in there pretty good.
