NEED HELP!!!

My Commando has been rooted for a few months now using superone. But thats it!! I can't do anything else! When I click on rom manager v4.3.3.0 there is no rom for the commando.

(I was able to figure out pdanet though.) dont need or want it though

And when I click on my titanium backup app it says " root access failed."

Can one of you super geniuses please help me out. I would like to atleast get rid of the bloat.

I am not very good at this stuff at all.

Also, can anyone please explain to me why they havent developed a rom for the commando? It has been out much longer than alot of the phones they have roms for.

Is it security or demmand.

I have a feeling that if the commando could handle these roms it would be unbelievable!!!

An indestructible phone with super user privleges would be the balls!!!

Do you have a Superuser icon in the app tray?
If not, you are not rooted.

If you are truly rooted......
When you start Titanium Backup Pro, you should get a message that says "Asking for Superuser rights", quickly followed by a Superuser Request popup that asks if you want to grant Titanium Superuser rights. Click the "remember" checkbox and then click "Allow".

Titanium will now work properly.

I am unable to just plug my phone into my computer via USB and charge my phone. I have never had this issues with any other phone. I get that I need to download the driver, but I do not understand why they would do this.
Also, if I download the driver - can I then plug my phone into other usb's and have it charge (such as work computer or in usb in the car) or do the drivers need to be installed wherever I may want to charge my phone?
I am very annoyed by this.
Other than that - I am liking my phone a lot.

I had to download to both my laptops separately, not sure there was another method or not, but it seemed easy enough. It would seem the phone should charge via usb tho without drivers. Really don't know for sure, but think it also weird we didn't get any cd with the phone that has this stuff on it. First phone ever I think that I got without the CD. I called Verizon and asked about it along with some other things right after I got the phone in May. After I got friendly chatting up the girl, I asked for the drivers and she let it slip that they didn't want people to tether illegally so no drivers were included. Take that how you like, but no matter just get the drivers on and your good. ;)
