Since I've pretty much decided to choose this phone over the Bionic, I thought I'd try to contribute something here and create a pictures thread. They are pretty hard to find and I'm not sure how many that are out there are official.

Here are a couple that I have found so far. If anyone knows of more, please add them here. Thanks!

The first one on left is just Nexus S when it's off. The right one looks closer to it probably. There is another one looking like fake yesterday on androidandme.com.

I'll remove the incorrect one. Thanks for clarifying that!

Can you post that right picture on Nexus Prime forum too? Seems like most of them haven't seen that and it will surely inject some excitement over there.

Sure...didn't know there was another forum for this. I can do the same thing over there.

Not so sure about that. If you notice, it doesn't have the capacative buttons at the bottom. The home, menu, back, and search buttons are on the screen, which is what we're supposed to see on android 2.4. I'll agree the back does look similar though. Oh god now Sammy's copying Moto!!!:D;)

Seriously, can't wait for this legal BS to end!

ICS will not be looking like honeycomb either, i doubt google will put those gaudy looking homescreen, back, and menu button right there, or have them take up that much landscape on a phone. just dont see that happening, ics will look like a cross between gb and honeycomb im sure, but not like honeycomb.

The buttons may not look exactly like that, but I think that losing the capacitive buttons currently on android phones will be a part of ICS. It opens up a lot of design options to manufacturers. It allows them to make the screen larger without making the phone larger. If they don't include this it seems like a fail to me.

By that I mean the update to ICS won't be much more than going from Froyo to GB, other than optimization for multi-core setups. When they announced that ICS was going to be a phone optimized version of HC that would unite phone and tablet OS, the first thing that everyone figured was losing the dedicated capacitive buttons. If they don't include the buttonless feature it will be a helluva letdown. Just my $.02.

yes it will lose all buttons, but at the same time, i dont know how much of that will please me, touch screen freeze anyone? and say your rooted and moded like all hell, there are only different solutions to get your phone working, but of course we all take risks.

i and actually very anxious to see what google has in store for us on ics, i dont want something that looks like gb or honeycomb, a new setup would be nice, or a cross between honeycomb and gb look wise. but unfortunately only time will tell

hmm that's a very interesting point.

somehow they would have to be completely independent of each other so that the app doesn't make the menu bar feeze.

i.e. if an app freezes, I just long press home and go to system panel and cancel the process.

If an app freezes and menu bar is frozen, you have to wait for android to self close the program or for the phone to automatically reboot. I find if my phone is completely frozen I have to wait for a reboot anyways.

This has only happened over last couple months though as my Incredible is 15 months old it is starting to catch up a little.

Wouldn't the absolute worst case be that you do a battery pull? I have had to do that on Froyo & GB due to a frozen app, granted it's once in a blue moon. Even though my phones have off screen buttons, I have had it lock up to the point where pressing the home button did nothing. So I had to do a battery pull. Seems to me the same thing would work here in that event. Not that big of a deal IMHO.

I would take the phone being a little thicker to include a larger battery. To me I am not one who cares that my phone is paper thin. I like feeling the phone in hand and would have no problem if it is the same size as the charge(thickness wise) with a 2000mah+ battery. I'll take my phone lasting all day or atleast a good portion of it over a super thin phone and battery dying in 5 hours.
