Root [ROM] CyanogenMod 7 for the LG Optimus M MS690

It is the first time it's been synced back to CM in a while though... I still feel like I need to try it, lol.
very true ;)

should I flash your latest over the 09-09 one, or should I just skip it? I have everything working right now, so have there have been some improvements with the CM7 repo?
CM7 is always being improved on, but I haven't checked the CM changelog to know what they'vee done as of late.

but you should be able to just flash over yea, I'd make sure to do a backup first tho just in case ;)

Don't use r.0.c.k kernal in this rom does a major delay when trying to turn phone back on to get to lockscreen
no reason to use reppards kernel in my ROM, but he will have a updated kerenl soon and it shouldnt matter which kernel is used ;) They're all 3 basically the same (or will be) with the exception of maybe diff cpufreqs that may or may not increase performance.

I was trying to play with the adb wireless app. I pushed the big button like it says to do, and then granted it the super user authority. I then goto my command line window in Windows. I make sure I'm in the correct path (I haven't bothered to put it into the path so I just cd into the correct path). I get the message saying daemon not running starting it on port 5037 and started successfully, but then it comes back with error unable to connect to the ip i put in. I double checked it several times to make sure I had typed in the correct IP and I had. The first time I typed it in I had put the :5555 at the end of the IP like it told me to type in, but the error came back as IP:5555:5555 so I just typed the IP in and the error came back just as IP:5555. Still unable to connect though. Any thoughts or ideas?

i use adb wireless.. havent had any issues with it ip, generally 192.168.*.*:5555 works just fine, is your phone connected to your wireless home network? only thing i can think of that would keep if fromw orking that i can come up with

Can someone please tell what steps I need to take (ie, wiping) to flash updated 09192011 of this Rom:

Asking because first I wiped cache & dalvik cache, then flashed ROM, Gapps, Metroff & Plague v2.0 and got stuck at boot animation. I took out battery, restarted phone, again got stuck at boot animation. I then wiped cache, dalvik cache, user data.... all except sd-ext and all data/factory reset, and flashed all again and still got stuck at boot animation (2xs). What steps am I doing wrong? Am also flashing Metroff because having WiFi issues. Earlier did nand backup of all -so I'm now restoring that because have to make phone call. TIA

(PG would know more then me, but this is how i did it)

Make a backup, erase data and cache, then run update (9.19), then after it boots up once, go bcak to recovery and click on backup>advance restore and only restore data and cache.

It'll have all your apps and call logs, ect. back like it was be4 u updated. Then of course
make sure in About it says 9.19.

I'm still a newb though, this is correct right? OR am i adding a step?

If I'm not mistaken you don't need to flash Plague 2.0 as version 0919 already has this included.
