OP updated with new build.
FFS, I just flashed to the old build like 2 hours ago... lol
if you flashed the kernel update with it theres not much diff except sync'd with CM's latest and the new governor.FFS, I just flashed to the old build like 2 hours ago... lol

very trueIt is the first time it's been synced back to CM in a while though... I still feel like I need to try it, lol.
CM7 is always being improved on, but I haven't checked the CM changelog to know what they'vee done as of late.should I flash your latest over the 09-09 one, or should I just skip it? I have everything working right now, so have there have been some improvements with the CM7 repo?
metroff isnt a kernel , but try and and see, if mms doesnt work then flash metroffOh, other than GAPPs, do we need to flash the metroff kernel?

Is it possible to get rid of the warning dragons ahead screen before the performance menu? It was cute the first time I saw it but I'm just about sick of seeing it now, lol.
lol no way, I love that warning, i'll never get tired of it
no reason to use reppards kernel in my ROM, but he will have a updated kerenl soon and it shouldnt matter which kernel is used They're all 3 basically the same (or will be) with the exception of maybe diff cpufreqs that may or may not increase performance.Don't use r.0.c.k kernal in this rom does a major delay when trying to turn phone back on to get to lockscreen
I was trying to play with the adb wireless app. I pushed the big button like it says to do, and then granted it the super user authority. I then goto my command line window in Windows. I make sure I'm in the correct path (I haven't bothered to put it into the path so I just cd into the correct path). I get the message saying daemon not running starting it on port 5037 and started successfully, but then it comes back with error unable to connect to the ip i put in. I double checked it several times to make sure I had typed in the correct IP and I had. The first time I typed it in I had put the :5555 at the end of the IP like it told me to type in, but the error came back as IP:5555:5555 so I just typed the IP in and the error came back just as IP:5555. Still unable to connect though. Any thoughts or ideas?
as a general rule wiping everything is a good practice. But you can get by with just wiping the dalvik cache with minor updates with the same ROM. I do it all the time with my DX which is on CM nightlys. You need to wipe all data before flashing a rom
Can someone please tell what steps I need to take (ie, wiping) to flash updated 09192011 of this Rom:
Asking because first I wiped cache & dalvik cache, then flashed ROM, Gapps, Metroff & Plague v2.0 and got stuck at boot animation. I took out battery, restarted phone, again got stuck at boot animation. I then wiped cache, dalvik cache, user data.... all except sd-ext and all data/factory reset, and flashed all again and still got stuck at boot animation (2xs). What steps am I doing wrong? Am also flashing Metroff because having WiFi issues. Earlier did nand backup of all -so I'm now restoring that because have to make phone call. TIA
