Help Animated Radar Sites.

I am a Droid user waiting on 2.1 to be released and have a question about Annimated Radar. Do the Annimated radar sites now work with the 2.1 release? None of the ones I used with my BB will work on the Droid. I used them all the time and was hoping the update would fix this. Thanks for any help!

What are the sites you use? I will test them on my Nexus One.

Weather.com animations work fine; haven't checked anywhere else.

When I go to the site I can see the radar image but I don't see it moving am I correct in assuming it updates every 10 minutes.

Yes it does. Did you click on animated radar? It should animate then every 10 minutes update the progress again.

It updates every 10 minutes; but you should be getting the animation as seen on this page;

are you at weather.com or are you at the mobile site? i'm wondering if the two are identical... seems like that would be a flash animation that wouldnt work...

Still wish the other worked. It works on my wife and daughters enV phones. Weird it don't work on Android?? So Android must not support Animated GIF's I guess.

animations work fine on the stock browser and on dolphin

Guess weather.com is the only one that works. Accuweather.com doesn't either?? Wonder what the difference is?

The Android browser does not support animated gifs. That is why I.wund.com does not animate along with many other radar sites.

Yeah I actually have wb elite just for the maps. It's just weird that Android wouldn't support animated GIF's when a regular "dumb phone" does.

Use Radar now. It is the best. Find it in the market.
