Yes. After you create the folder, open it and then long press on the word Folder in the top left corner. A box will open and you rename the folder. ezpz

No problem - some of this stuff isn't very intuitive. I learned this one on one of the Droid boards recently.

Only because we come form other worlds ... Windows, Mac, etc... Think of the long-press as Windows' right-click and it all starts making sense.

Ha!! Had not even thought of that. For me "not intuitive" means it's not like Windows (not that there's anything good about that). I mean what's so intuitive about right click? You are 100% correct.

Maybe we could get a tiny little mouse??
