Post update placebo effect?

Anyone else notice the phone running a bit smoother since the update? I know it's probably placebo effect, but it appears to handle transitions better. I've also not had any more odd text entry errors or need to restart the phone since the update.

Not noticed anything, though I vaguely get the impression that touchscreen response seems better and misalignment happens less. But no idea if that's real or, as you say, placebo effect.

You nailed it. I think they fixed the misalignment issues, or made them way less frequent. It was very frequent that i would run into it when txting. Hasnt really happened since the update.

Mine works good enough i've decided not to install anymore 3rd party roms. The 3g fix was most impressive for me as I get solid 4bars anywhere I go outside of my house regardless of how I hold the phone This was definitely not the case before! Very happy with the phone with stock updated rom right now! My Iphone doesn't stand a chance of having the sim card reinserted these days
