The Oct 1, 2011 OTA update 4.5.605.mb810 from Verizon on my Droid X Andriod version 2.3.3 took away my root and now all programs that require root, such as Titanium backup will not work. I need to re-root my phone.
I have tried Gingerbreak, SuperOneClick 2.1.1 and several other "fixes" but none work.
Can you help? Thanks

None of those will work.

You need to try the new one-click D3 method. Find it in the stickies.

I tried MotorolaOneClickRoot psouza4.zip:
Root Access is not properly configured or was not granted.
Superuser.apk - com.noshufou.android.su - version 3.0 is installed!
System Environment PATH: /sbin /vendor/bin /system/sbin /system/bin /system/xbin
The adb binary is set to default shell user access as a standard non-root user
Standard su binary location: ls -l /system/bin/su:
-rwxr-xr-x root shell 26264 2011-01-06 15:00 su

Standard su binary location: ls -l /system/xbin/su:
-rwsr-xr-x root root 26264 2011-10-04 13:29 su

Alternate su binary location:
/sbin/su: Permission denied

Alternate su type binary location:
/system/xbin/sudo: No such file or directory

SU binary not found or not operating properly
Results provided on your DROIDX device by Root Checker version 3.7 from joeykrim in the Android Market - http://goo.gl/GgWae
DID NOT WORK
