Cupcake in US starts May 11th

One additional point - every post I've seen states week of May 11 and one post specified the end of the week (T Mo forum). Not to rain on the parade but I wouldn't expect to see it roll out before May 15, give or take a day. Thenit will be random and fully rolled out by the end of the month.

I'm not waiting another 10 to 21 days, so I'm planning on rooting and loading JF 1.5 tonight.

Good man, good man.

I just rooted last night, and I'll only go back kicking and screaming.

This clearly says it could last until the end of the month.

Wasn't taking issue with the end date on the time frame, rather the beginning. I firmly believe it will not start rolling out on the 11th. If it were, they would say, it is going to start rolling out on the 11th. Instead it is put out that the rollout will begin the week of the 11th.

Off to root and get me some cupcakey goodness. I'd also been struggling with rolling back and getting the official OTA when its available, but decided that is unlikely for two reasons:

1) If there is anything worthy in the official OTA, I'm guessing someone (i.e. JF) will release something like JF 1.5 ADP v2 or some such

2) I'm definitely not going to want to wait the next time an update becomes available and will end up rooting later anyway.

Just my $.02
