2.1 Anything.......

Is there 2.1 APKs out there for us anywhere for the CDMA Hero (Sprint)? There is this link I researched and found...Rom-Kingklick 2.1 v1.4 for I believe G1 android phones. They have 2.1 App Launcher and live wallpaper, just wondering if we can use this or if there is a APK/ROM that can give us a new sweet App Launcer or perhaps "live wallpaper"???

I wrote on the wall of the other forum "XDA" and asked the very same question...if HTC Sprint Hero can use this ROM or not.

Thanks anyone out there knows of any 2.1 features we can scoop up now for our phones

if your asking for a 2.1 rom there is one and theres a sticky at the top of the forum with a link to available roms.

Not what I was looking for, thanks though! I already found that junk in my research . I was looking for a new "app launcher" researchman...and you didn't quite come through. It's all good though....I've been up all night looking for something we can all share, and to not be too much of a smart-butt about it in the process

Thank you though...it was VERY helpful of you to show me a link in hopes of you being a kind soul, although that was not the case.

Showing people how to get through things via research is what I am here for, as well as my own Hero advancement. I have accomplished helping a few others in my short time here.......others helping me (without sidecracks) is totally cool with me I'll find somthing, or someone else will find that elusive "2.1 App Launceer"...and we will post it here (all friendly style too) for all the beautiful Android people to have at!

deff not from jersey but ok just one of many nicknames i have ..and i dont understand why you would just want a diff app launcher doesnt make sense to me...same with the wallpapers...


and from what i read from your post you said roms so i kinda figured you wanted a 2.1 rom...

wow, i didn't understand what the OP was talking about either and assumed the same as jersey. if i knew what the guy was looking for i still wouldn't help. if you're asking for assistance you don't spend 3/4 of a reply being a douche followed by an additional douchey comment.

The concept of an app launcher is actually a very cool. This is a way to be able to start up applications intended for Android 1.6 and later without flashing your Hero, thus maintaining the original environment until the 2.1 release. I would be very interested in following your findings. Thanks for the research!

Sooooo happy we have reissued/reinstated a zero tolorance policy for those people who don't wish to help others...or wish to slam them for their lack of knowledge or "reposting" I feel my original post here was quite clear...as I read it over and 2.1 "app launcer" was what I was looking for....right!?! I couldn't find "help me find the 2.1 ROM" anywhere. But don't loose sleep please, I have been helped here by older...more positive souls in this forum.
