Whys that? Telling Verizon I want this phone is a bad idea?

No, it's a great idea. I just launched a huge "grass roots" campaign a couple hours ago that included emailing a bunch of Verizon people on their work-email addresses, which got deleted, which I got pissed about even though I said I didn't care.

So now I'm over it.

Having said that, if we do get Verizon'd on this and no Nexus comes, I'll be whining about how I tried and you guys stopped me. :D

I'm trying to remember from the launch - did they say there were LED notifications? I think I remember seeing an LED that hides on the bottom of the screen? Does that sound familiar?

I really miss my LED notifications from the OG droid days! Not having one on my Charge has been really frustrating.

Yeah, there's a LED on the bottom, in the bezel below the screen.

In my experience working for a big, public company, Those internal earnings reviews NEVER have info that wasn't given out in the earnings release and following earnings call. I checked the transcript, no dice (All iPhone, all the time, yuck). Not saying its not true, but still needs to be treated as a rumor. Thanks for the info though, rumors are what make this thread go around :)

I don't think it is. In the other reddit thread he was basically saying how gullible everyone is now he posts this and says he has no proof?

You should post that on his thread, see what he says. . . .

Hans, is this "internal webcast" something your sister can confirm?

It's HAN, dammit.

And I sent her a text. She gets out early on Fridays so she might be out of work.

lol i'm keeping the tab opened on twitter where verizon is getting spammed about the nexus. its hilarious.

The awesome thing about this kind of response is that at least one person's job at Verizon is almost undoable right now because they can't monitor @VerizonWireless for other support issues. Now yes, that sucks for folks needing non-Galaxy Nexus assistance, but that means that person is complaining to their boss, who is complaining to their boss, and so on.

It's the only good thing about Twitter ;) I hate it otherwise.
