Navigation dots on the bottom corners

I have a new bug.

The navigation dots at the bottom of the screen are playing up.

If you are on centre screen then you should always see 2 dots on either side (as you have 2 screens either side of centre).

However, if I scroll to any other screen and enter an app through icon or widget and then exit using the home key, the navigation dots on the home screen are displayed as they were on the screen from where I entered the app. i.e. 1 and 3 or none and 4 dots.

I noticed it yesterday. All I did yesterday was update Google Maps and Snesoid.

I have tried pulling the battery.

Anyone else got this?

Yep, noticed this as well. Does it irritate me - very slightly. Does it ruin my experience of the phone (excellent otherwise), no.

Last part of the above sentence is directed towards a certain Forum member, just in case he/she comes upon the thread in the near future and annoy us Nexus One owners (I say this as I don't believe he/she has one or ever intends to get one!) with some twaddle. ;)

Right, spleen has been vented.

I have a similar problem where it misaligns the background when I click home as though I'm still on the screen I opened the app from. The dots infer the same, although I'm clearly not. A little annoyance as I've arranged my icons so that they don't obscure my lovely background ;)

I tried with starfield background, and yes I was looking at one of the side backgrounds in the middle homescreen.

As petergdakin said, mildly annoying - but I'm not too bothered as it doesn't really show with the Nexus wallpaper.

Does the same for me. Doesn't bother me too much. Just a weird little glitch. Hopefully get fixed in the near future. Imagine it's way down the list in Google priorities.

I'd hope that it'd be so small a fix they'll pop it in with the next update. I know it doesn't affect the use of the phone, but it's a real down point when you're showing your never-heard-of-android friends your spangly new phone and they notice it.
