Just installed BB7.5....a few immediate questions:

- I've noticed that none of my weather widgets are refreshing...it says no data. Wanted confirmation that this is indeed on my end and not that the servers are down or something. Everyone else's weather widgets (I have weather widgets free and the 2.1 weather/news widget) working fine?

- What is the Genie widget. 7.5 has the 2.1 news and weather app with its widget. AFAIK the genie widget is the same thing.....but since 7.3, there is the option of stock or glassed. What is this genie widget? I can't seem to add anything called genie widget after installing.

- What do you mean by odex/de-odex and what are their benefits?

HOLY CRAP this thing is FAST now.....esp while booting!!!!!

I've had a few widget issues with BB as well. I was able to fix them by rebooting. Also, make sure your GPS is on if you're using location based weather.

Genie and News & Weather are the same, AFAIK.

Odex is a file type used by Android for certain system/preinstalled apps. By de-odexing, I believe this means they are either removed or converted into a different format, probably APK. For whatever reason, I guess this increases performance and boot time. I'm not an expert on this matter.
