Htc hero - htc legend?

Hello. I am new to these forums and new to HTC phones. I have seen alot of good thingd about HTC and am interested in buying one. I have seen that the best new phones coming out are the Nexus 1, Bravo and Legend

Know i think that the Nexus 1 and Bravo would not suit me so that points me towards the Legend. I have been reading that it would be the successer to the Hero which brings me to ask...Will the Legend be So much difference to the Hero that its worth wating for?. All i really do is Call, Text, bit of internet browsing E.G Facebook, Sky Sports, eBay etc. Also Hero is gettin 2.1 update right?

Could someone please tell me what the major differences between both phones are please?

I shall jump ship when the HTC Scorpion packing the 1.5GHz Snapdragon comes out.

@andy_d: I dont think the legend is supposed to be the top end google/sense phone, that's gonna be the bravo. Even so, the legend's CPU is still gonna be much more powerful than the hero's even if the clock speed isnt that different.

Also: it should have decent camera with flash - thus fixing the hero's one major (IMO) failing.

Dont think of the legend as the 'Hero 2'. Think of it as hero: revision 2.
