Can Tmobile tell if i rooted this?

Hi, i rooted my phone a while ago and now my spacebar isnt working so t mobile is sending me a new g1 in the mail and i have to send the old one back. I want to make sure that they cant see i rooted my phone, so i did a hard reset....can they still tell that i rooted it? i went to my about phone in the menu and its not on the RC33. How do i get the RC33 back, and could they tell that i rooted it from this?.... it says..........

Can't say for sure but...
When you factory reset a rooted phone you will probably only return it to the base rooted version and wipe all apps and data...
