Verizon Nexus One by end of the month & sold in-store?

I'll be a bit irritated if it does because I switched to t-mobile so I could get my N1. I didn't want to wait another 4 months for Verizon to get their act together, but if it comes out this soon I could have waited. Oh well, move forward...

But to echo what everyone else is saying I think this would be great for the platform. The N1 hasn't don't as hot compared to other phones because of the lack of advertising and hands on shopping experience. This will bring great public exposure to the phone.

I hope they where not selling you a phone and said the N1 would be out at the end of the month, so you can return it and get that, where they?

No I am up for a new phone next week and I'm just trying to figure out what to get. He actually told me to wait vs. getting the droid or palm pre plus. I love the google services so I'll have to wait for the N1 whether it's the end of this month or not.

I just wanted to see what other people have heard from the Verizon people.

its really not a matter of vzw getting its act together. since their logo already appears big as day on Google's nexus one site, its a matter of HTC getting its manufacturing ducks in a row.

Sorry, I was referring to Verizon's horrible selection of phones the past few years. I have been watching the rumor mill since July to see which Android phone they would eventually carry and they disappointed me with the Droid. Don't get me wrong, it's a fine phone, but I wanted something less boxy and without a slider. Verizon has a "Don't ask because we ain't telling" attitude so I couldn't wait another 4 months to see what they'd do.

At least tease me!! Theres more to live than a fantastic network!!

With all of the advertising hyping the Droid before it was released...I'd think we'd start seeing advertising for the N1 very, very soon if this were true.
And considering the lack of advertising on the Nexus One for T-Mobile... I say it's still up in the air--but I think more end of March instead of February.

I just got the Eris on 2/4 and am considering returning it and waiting for the N1, so, when i called verizon cust service to make sure i would still have an upgrade availability on my line if i returned the Eris (Which i would) and asked if she had any info on the release date of the Nexus One.

She said it should be out by the end of March, but, again, it's a cust service rep and as always, take it with a grain of salt.

I do agree with the other posters though, we should be seeing SOME form of advertisement or talk about demo phones or SOME website talking about the release date...they're note THAT secretive about it. Think about every other phone that Verizon puts out, we at least hear release date leaks, website placeholders, pricing rumors, SOMETHING leading up the actual release date, and we got NOTHIN.

Just Spring '10. Garbage. Just gimme a taste!
