Just got back from a Verizon store were a rep told me the Nexus One may be out by the end of the month and be sold in-store. What do you guys think? BS?
I hope they where not selling you a phone and said the N1 would be out at the end of the month, so you can return it and get that, where they?
I'll be a bit irritated if it does because I switched to t-mobile so I could get my N1. I didn't want to wait another 4 months for Verizon to get their act together, but if it comes out this soon I could have waited. Oh well, move forward...
But to echo what everyone else is saying I think this would be great for the platform. The N1 hasn't don't as hot compared to other phones because of the lack of advertising and hands on shopping experience. This will bring great public exposure to the phone.
A store employee isn't privy to that kind of information. The worst place for information is in a cell phone store or a cust service rep on a phoneJust got back from a Verizon store were a rep told me the Nexus One may be out by the end of the month and be sold in-store. What do you guys think? BS?
Don't waste your time they will either tell you what you want want to hear or give you gross misinformation.i have the day off tomorrow. maybe i'll call around to a few vzw stores, ask for the managers, and see if any of them have some similar hopeful information for me.
so if this is true it will be out in all of europe at the same time??
im really looking forward to getting one
its really not a matter of vzw getting its act together. since their logo already appears big as day on Google's nexus one site, its a matter of HTC getting its manufacturing ducks in a row.
And considering the lack of advertising on the Nexus One for T-Mobile... I say it's still up in the air--but I think more end of March instead of February. With all of the advertising hyping the Droid before it was released...I'd think we'd start seeing advertising for the N1 very, very soon if this were true.
