Assuming that:

Cleveland Browns = VZW
Browns being good/winning = Getting a confirmed Nexus Release date

His final comment reminds me of us after we gripe, grouch, complain to the nth degree about VZW, but we are still gonna buy the Nexus from them when it releases..................

A Browns Fan's Reaction To Today's Game Against Houston - YouTube

As I am most likely this forum's sole Cleveland Browns fan, I see the true reality in this clip, more so than the humor. That said, I am now cleaning the screen of my Thundetbolt after spitting coffee all over it.

Go Browns an keep the faith Browns Backers world wide.

Edit: After reading on, I see I'm not alone. Comforting.

Biggest mistake I made was having my Ipad engraved. Kinda hard to sell it.

I'm just hoping I can get 250 to 300 it is a Ipad1, wifi, 16GB, plus I've never sold anything in my life...but this thing has got me considering it. Hoping I can figure out ebay, but I imagine it's not too bad.

I would try to sell it on Creigslist first, Ebay and Paypal will ding you for a percentage of the sell price. I prefer cash transfers myself :)

Is anyone else gonna be like this when your new phone (or tablet for the Asus defectors) :D

Sort of why I prefer ordering online and activating myself. Don't like the rep's greasy hands all over it.

P3 talked more about battery life:

Good morning again..so more normal usage .seems that I burn through 10% battery per hour. Same as my bionic. I'm not expecting magic with battery life so I have an extra battery with me just in case. Anywhos I guess I will peg this at approx 6 - 7 hrs
His math is wrong, 10% per hour would last for 10 hours :p
In all seriousness though, 6-7 hours of usage is pretty good. That's translates into a lot of standby time for me.

Yeah, if I win the lotto (reminds me I gotta play to win!) I'll get the prime, but especially with phones getting larger, I think the GN will do 95% of what I'd use a tablet for anyway.

I've read books on my Dinc, and I actually didn't mind it at all. Web surfing and navigation is awkward put I'm thinking the GN is big enough to perform that reasonably well...

One of the girls here has a tv in her office and watches Kathy Lee and Hoda in the morning. She waved a bunch of us over to see Hoda show off her new iPhone with Siri. (The girl at work just got hers and is raving about it.)

Hoda gave it like 5 commands, and I'm not making this up, it didn't work once. Kept saying "I don't understand..."

I don't know, maybe it works in a vacuum with complete silence, but it appears to be gimmicky in real world situations.

And yes, we all laughed at her and at our coworker. She shooed us out of her office with a frown.

I'm thinking of keeping my spray charts on a tablet this year if I can get an app that could make me able to use as styus with a 15 page pdf. If I can get something that will work, I may be able to get baseball to flip at least half the bill on a new transformer. HEHE..:)...Does anyone have any ideas???

The best tablet / stylus combo in Android I know of is the HTC Flyer. Don't know if it will do what you want, but you can use it to mark up content, then save results as a PDF.

This looks pretty sweet.

HTC Ville detailed: HTC Sense 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, thinner than iPhone

Still wish Sense - in varying degrees - was optional on HTC phones.

That thing is specced equal to(processor) or worse(qHD screen) than the Rezound. The only thing it has going for it is ICS. Considering that it isn't supposed to come out until April, I'd be willing to bet that there will be an ICS AOSP ROM for the Rezound by then.

And wow, the battery has 30 more mAh than the Rezound. I'm sure that'll add five minutes to an HTC phone.

That's probably just a non-Verizon Rezound. It has all the same specs except for the qHD (ew) display and ICS. The Rezound will get ICS before the Ville even comes out. It is thinner than the ReFatty, though

Edit: Augh, Ytram ninja'd me, said the same thing I did

Edit 2: WOOH 250 posts!! That's literally 1% of Steven's post count! :D

I do love how qHD gets an "ew" from us now ;)

According to that post it's not even SAMOLED+, so there's also going to be a bunch of "ZOMG SCREEN DOOR" comments too

Haha, I'm stuck with my WVGA Touch Pro2, so I guess I shouldn't be dissing qHD, but it has been getting a bad rap recently. My friend's T-Mo HTC Sensation's qHD screen is pretty nice though. However, I think I noticed a green hue. *shrug*

Whatevs, GN is getting 720p, that's all that matters to me :D

Isn't the rehound a snapdragon S3? According to this
Leaked HTC Ville on tap for Mobile World Congress announcementAndroidGuys

The Ville is a S4 processor, which is a Krait processor
AnandTech - Qualcomm's New Snapdragon S4: MSM8960 & Krait Architecture Explored

If so, this is the first Krait that I've seen leak.

btw, congrats on 250 posts! Woot!

I should clarify: LOOKS sweet. With only a dual core (after the Edge's Quad), no NFC, and yet another crappy HTC battery, definately not worth waiting for.

Article said S4 - that's quad core. Another quality piece from BGR.

Fwiw (not much in this crowd :)) if that qHD screen is one of the new Sharp mobile ASV displays, it's likely to join the ranks of the most color-accurate displays out there (admittedly a niche market).

Agree the battery is a step backwards tho.

Keep in mind, that's just an article and not an official spec sheet. Not unusual for an article to miss a detail like that.

I'd pretty much guarantee that's it would be SAMOLED+.

The reason old phones didn't use SAMOLED+ was because Samsung didn't have the capability to print subpixels at that resolution. Once they refined thier process, pretty much everything coming off the line is SAMOLED+ now. Can you think of a recently released phone using an AMOLDED display that doesn't use the + version? I find it highly unlikely we'll se qHD screens in anything but RGB configurations from here out.

GNex is in the same boat. Samsung can't print HD screens with 3 subpixels at that resolution. So we're stuck with pentile.
