Hi, I just joined. A few things about me:

I'm a guy, don't be fooled by my name.

I have an HTC Eris, got it the day it came out. I love it and android but realize neither is perfect, but I'm generally very forgiving of tech products as I know how complicated they are.

I am generally very opinionated and sometimes come off as a jerk when voicing those opinions. Please know that I'm actually a very nice guy, I just like to voice my opinion. For example, I DO NOT like task killers installed on any android phone. They are useless and will make your phone actually perform worse in all cases, no exceptions. If your phone is performing poorly, it's a crappy app causing the problem. Find that app and uninstall it. Sometimes the problem app is the task killer itself, if you have one. And I joke a lot, but for some reason it just comes off jerky.

I also tend to be very verbose. I typically type a lot. What may be a simple 2 sentence answer for some people will take me 2 paragraphs to get my point across. Mostly because I want to answer a person's question very thoroughly, so there's little question as to how to do something or fix something after they've read what I had to say. I help administer a forum with some friends of mine and I have the most posts and 3 times as many posts as the next highest contributor.

I'm 30 years old (it's depressing, I miss the 20s) employed as an electrical engineer and am very technically savvy. I do A LOT of research before buying anything. I generally know more about tech consumer products than most, but only the ones I'm interested in.

I have a wife and 2 kids (twin boy and girl, 3 years old). I love video games, building PCs, camping, and anything home theater related.

That's about it for now.
