The Symphony of Eternity (Android's Final Fantasy)

Hmm.. quick question, why is the red golem a girl now?

I double tapped right as she explained and didn't get to read the text :(

And is anyone inherently better than anyone else for a certain role?

For example, is Lish inherently a better caster than Dau, and Dau better at tanking than Kreist?

Oh, and what is reduced usage? What does it do when you add merit points to it?

Some dwarven golem genius crafted her a more human-looking body.

And quite honestly, I've just kept the original party and they've done fine.

Reduced usage seems to reduce the cost of magic and special attacks by 10% for every 10 points you have invested into it up to a maximum of 50% at 50 points. It's very worthwhile for your casters AND your melee attackers, as it benefits special attacks (also known as magic attacks) equally. I have 30 points invested on Lish and 20 each on Dau and Kriest.

Thanks man!

Between Kreist and Dau, who's better at defense and who's better at offense? Should I get one tank, one attacker, and one caster? Or just load up on attack for both of them?

Honestly, Dau is a better tank simply because he gets an insane amount of hp as he levels up. I have mine set up that Kreist is my "glass cannon"/sniper of sorts (high damage, accuracy, decent resistance, acceptable defense), while Dau is a sledgehammer tank (high damage, passable accuracy, high defense and resistance).

Dau becomes useful during the post-endgame fights because golems seem to have innately higher resistances to negative status effects, which makes him a very decent potion-tosser when Kreist and Lish start dropping. Then again, I played through the damned game three times without the AoE heal spells High Priest gives, so that's less of a concern now.

I don't think any points BETWEEN multiples of ten do anything, so if you've got anything set between, it behooves you to move them into the closest stat to a multiple of ten, and just reallocate when you've got the points needed from further leveling.

You have to exit the cave - go right after leaving the town, go up the stairs/ladder, then go up, take the left fork to a new extra-long stair/ladder, then look down the "cave" - if there's a "green jelly" mob wandering around, that's the way out.

Fair warning, though - it can be a real pain in the ass finally double-tapping your way back aboard the airship when it's so close to a "door" like the cave opening.

Oh, and the other reason Dau makes a better tank is because he has that "Guard" ability, so if he's going to be stepping in front of attacks, it's best to have him well-protected.

Yea, I just switched to use the buttons to navigate around instead of using tap. Much easier.

Hey everyone. I'm new to the rpg world and am having trouble with weapons. I buy one and when I go to use it the equip button and discard button are both greyed out and won't give me the option to select it. I tried redownloading the game and it is still doing it. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated!

Did you try to equip it when viewing your characters? Or try to do it from your items? You have to do it when viewing your character, and then go to "equipment" from there.

I wish the developers did not skimp on the horrible auto mode.. the healer won't even heal party if near dead.. no magic used at all in auto mode.. that is pretty dumb that it is so dumbed down.

Yea.. I wish they implemented that too...

It's special attack. once it fills up full(100%) you can use it in the fights.
I mostly use it against bosses.
The way it works, once you select attack for all your chars. before they actually start attacking(before graphics) you press "Break" which is at right hand upper corner in your screen, and it will than ask you which char's break you want to use you select the char/attack, and that's it that attack will be greatly improve for that turn. once used it will go back to 0% and you have to earn it back.

How is this game i am an avid lover of ff series particularly V from old school 2d ones, would i enjoy this? what is it similar too.

Probably. Just download it and try it lol, it's free.

Btw can someone explain the difference b/t attack and magical attack in this game? Which moves are classified as which? Are all skills classified as magical attack?

If that's the case, wouldn't you switch all your merit points to magical attack before a boss battle?

  • I loved Dauturu for his secreat ability, and Laishutia for her healing abilities. Honestly Kreist sort of sucked, he basically fell in the support role without support role abilites. I used him to use spirt potions for Dauturu or heal a party member if they dropped down below 1500. He does come in useful when you get the light and darkeness damage absorbtion armor, I probbly wouldn't of been able to beat the sky dungion boss without that.

  • So is that the Sacred Mail, where is slightly reduces light and darkness element dmg? Or is there something better?

The only thing that's "better" than the stuff that requires the red ore to make is the stuff that requires the BLUE ore (Zeradonal or something) which can only be looted and rewarded for killing the post-endgame bosses (and random mobs will sometimes drop it).

Also, the "sequel" to this (even though it's a different game entirely) is FREE today on Amazon App Store. Pick it up! :D

And the best armor/weapons are always available to make at the dwarves places right?

Oh, and what counts as a magical attack? All the special moves that require mana right?

Yes, the Dwarven shop is the best place - even though on your first play-through, the weapon shop in Eashtend has slightly more powerful (but not specialized) weapons - but they're not worth buying.

And yes to the other as well - anything that uses MP counts as a magic attack. The farther you get in the game, the more prudent it is to use them in lieu of regular attacks just to speed things up.

Hoping someone can help me out. I fought the Safira chick who turned into three bosses and ran off with the regulate and opposite to regulate. The drawf and elf did something so I could go higher in the heavens. But now I can't figure out where to go. I went to The Sword of Heaven and went through two rooms but in the second room the door is locked. Am I in the right place. If so how do I unlock the door? Thanks.
