I hope your right!!! I'll probably never get anything but a pug...However, I may get a bulldog one day....they're pretty darn expensive though. Ours name is Ollie...he's a nut!!!

More than enough, I know. Just sharing for those who are interested. I have always maintained; until Verizon says something publicly-- its all rumors and speculation. I'll keep as even keel as Bo in a Big XII title game... wait I mean...

Why would a phone with ICS need capacitive buttons?

I for one would rather have capacitive. You get to use the entire screen. Always.

Usually the soons and the imminents were in regards to information and not the actual phone being in our hands.

Other than that, since Skyrim came out I haven't really been counting the days. So while I want the phone asap, I don't feel like every day I don't have it is excruciating.

polly is the fawn and percy is the black one. They are half brother/sister 8 weeks apart. They are almost 5 now, but these are great pics.

Always use a smaller screen w/capacitive or have the option to increase screen size with software buttons. Not to mention customization. Easy choice for me

Hi there! First post! Going to be taking the Android plunge once the Nexus hits.

I'm sitting here reading these posts and while I understand that it's frustrating, know that it could be worse. You could be like me....eligible for an upgrade for over a year, not finding anything that suits your fancy on any platform (iOS or Droid), and still stuck with an ancient ORIGINAL BLACKBERRY STORM! Fer Serius! Hurry the eff up VZW! I want a phone that I don't have to hide out of shame!

Also, IDK what you guys are talking about with this month-long (or however long it is) return period. I went to my local VZW store yesterday and specifically asked about this and I was told 14 days, like a poster above.

Me has a sad. Please to be coming out, Nexus!

I can't agree with you enough here, Chief. I know it's hard waiting and I don't have an OG Droid on life support, but I don't understand the "buy and return" philosophy.

Not that I think there's anything any of us can do to convince VZW to release GNex soonor rather than later, but I would rather put the pressure on them by NOT purchasing one of these devices and contribute to falsely inflating their sales figures. There's a reason they "temporarily" modified their return policy. I won't pretend to understand the internal business decisions at VZW but I just can't help but wonder if those that opt for the "buy and return" aren't playing into their hand.

I'm waiting for the Galaxy Nexus.

i foolishly bought a droid charge in early september when i got tired of my old envy touch turning itself off.after 3 days i decided to return it and wait for a better phone.cost me $70 to return it.told me dumbphones were $35 to return and smartphones $70 to return as a restocking fee.seems like a lot to rent a razr if u REALLY wanna return it.

the extended return policy i just assumed was a way to increase gift sales. u can buy a phone for someone during the shopping season and the recipient has time to return after the holidays r over.

The real question is if the Rezound shipped with ICS would we even be here. ICS is the real star. Being that the rezound has a nice screen (nicer than the Nexus?) and comes with something cool (beats) it would seem to be just as good as the nexus. Except for ICS and unlocked bootloader.

For me, getting updates straight from Google is a major plus. I don't like having to wait to get my updates.

well, that does suck for you...

the extended return period just started today - it only applies to phones purchased after 11/15... try again tomorrow, and you'll probably get a different answer.

Welcome, and congrats on getting the device tomorrow to play with. If an early adopter is getting a phone to test out tomorrow, doesn't bode well for a release in the next few days.

Please post pics, etc when you get the phone! We can live vicariously through you until it is released.
