thats not the vibe i got at all... what i got out of it was that, its verizons phone and its their call as to when its going to be released.. and him saying november was pretty much a combination of speculation, logic and him not wanting to be so lame and not give us a month. just a nervous answer

Disagree. He said November and it was clear he didn't want to specify when in November because he didn't want to steal his partner's (Verizon's) thunder. So if you sensed nervousness I think it is because he knew but didn't feel it was his place to announce the date (appropriately). But he did not hesitate to say November. This was not speculation. This is someone who knows.

MW3 would have been even more fun

Ehh....I have the last few COD games and I bought MW3 with full intentions of playing it but after spending some time with it I was way more sucked in by BF3 and sold my MW3 to help fund my Nexus purchase lol. I don't know what it was but MW3 just didn't do it for me. I think after playing BF3 so much it made MW3 look bad graphically in comparison and messed up my feelings about the entire game

Oh well, I'm a college student and this Nexus isn't going to be cheap on my budget so selling the MW3 back at pretty much what I paid for it was the right move because it wasn't going to get much play time.

I'm the same way. Im a pretty smart guy but there is way too much thinking involved for something that I have little to no chance of winning anyway.

So I when to the verizon smartphone section and when to the razr page, but then inserted 5801 into the address and this is what it returned!!!!! If the number isn't a phone it gives you back an error, so they really are putting it up right now

That's the generic error page, if you put any number in the URL for the phone ID it gives you the same page. Nothing to see here, folks

I tried a bunch of different numbers and got the same thing... am i missing something?

Wow. Go without internet for two days and I fall a gazillion posts behind. Quite the emotional roller coaster with ups and downs trying to catch up. At least the latter posts are more upbeat about a sooner than later release.

Although I enjoy reading hints about an imminent release, the post I enjoyed the most was the one with the broken F5 key.

I get back home the 21st. I really hope I have a good reason to drop by a Verizon or Costco on the drive home.

Wow, sorry guys. I was trying numbers a while back and the error you got back was different when the number didn't correlate to a phone.

I noticed a slight lag in some of the transitions, but it was most notable while using the keyboard. It had a whole mess of apps downloaded to it, and who knows how many were running.

No lag on mine thus far, but I'll keep an eye out these next couple of days for you.

MW3 would have been even more fun

Not that it means anything, but I am Community Manager for a major video card manufacturer and 95% of the people there are playing BF3 (rather than MW3). But that is on PC. On console, I think people prefer MW3. I shouldn't really comment as I'm an RPG/MMORPG guy (Skyrim, Star Wars : The Old Republic).

On topic, I REALLY hope the phone releases on the 17th. I am dying for this phone. Almost pulled the trigger on the Bionic, but I'm glad I waited. I'm currently using an X2, but I really want 4G. I feel you guys on a D1 though, my brother and a programmer at work are both still on D1s. The programmer is getting the Gnex and my brother is getting my X2
